Renovations at the spa aren't quite complete yet. Most things are done. But, they've decided they're closing on Sundays for a while, because business has been slow Sundays and we're losing money by being open. I don't mind it; I think one week I will lose a day's pay, but if I wanted to I could make it up. I just usually don't want to!
I have a four-day weekend over Labour Day. Saturday night Reiko & I are going up to Corrina's right after work (my work) for the night. On the Monday I'm having a very low-key BBQ/pool party for the girls (with their babies too!). I'm off the Tuesday & Wednesday also. Not sure what I'll be doing those days, but it's nice to have them off!
The outing with the girls from work Tuesday was fun. Just four of us went. We had some drinks & food; took some pictures. I was able to take my last train home, and I remember coming home too (so I wasn't completely loaded).
Friday I got my hair touched up again, in what ended up being a day-long process. We ran out of time in the morning, so after the colour & cute, I had to just slick it back wet for the day. I did need to tone the blond, so at about 5pm I had her throw some toner in. She had to leave, so after my clients, at 7:30pm, I rinsed it out myself! That was a challenge; upside down over the hairdressing sink. Luckily there weren't any clients, so they didn't see me making a giant puddle. My assistant manager (the guy who I like a lot & we get along great) was laughing at me & offered to help me. Then he let me blow dry & flat iron my hair (on company time). Anyhow, it's basically the same, except, now it's longer! So it still pretty much looks like this:
